Scattered showers and thunderstorms occurred Wednesday through west-central, southwest and southern areas of the Plains crop belt. Showers and thunderstorms were also reported in Florida Wednesday. Dry elsewhere in key U.S. and Canada crop areas. Temperatures ranged from the upper 60s in the west-central Plains and also the eastern Great Lakes region to the upper 90s over southwest Texas.

Scattered thunderstorms are likely Thursday from southern Kansas southward to north and east Texas and the western-most areas of the Delta. Scattered showers may also occur Thursday or Thursday evening through the western and north-central areas of the Canadian Prairies. Mostly ...
