Moderate rain showers were noted in the southern Delta and the north-central Plains Wednesday afternoon. The remainder of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions were dry. Temperatures ranged from the mid 60s in the northern Great Lakes to the mid 90s in southern Texas and the Carolina coast.

Thursday will features a swath of light rain in the central and southeastern Plains through the Delta and Southeast, a few showers in the central Prairies, and a dry trend otherwise.
