Showers and thunderstorms were noted throughout the Delta, Deep South, the Texas coast, central Iowa and central Kansas Thursday afternoon. Rain was also featured in central Montana and in the southwestern Canadian Prairies. Temperatures ranged from the mid 50s in northeastern Minnesota to the low 90s in southeastern Colorado and along with Carolina coast.

Friday will again be rainy in the Northern and central Plains and northern and western Midwest, with a round of light rain in the Delta. This pattern remains very wet for northern crop areas, with concern over possible acreage loss, as well as disrupting Plains wheat ...
