GENERAL COMMENTS:

Pressure in lean hog futures is creating some questions about sustaining short- or long-term buyer support in the market. Cattle contracts are focused on the renewed support in the feeder cattle market. This could help to sustain morning buyer support through the end of the session. Corn futures are lower at midday. July corn futures are 7 cents per bushel lower. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 95 points higher while Nasdaq is up 59 points.
