GENERAL COMMENTS:

Front-month futures are trading near the $3 per cwt trading limit Friday morning. There could be some additional support through the complex over the rest of the trading session, as traders square positions over the weekend. Corn futures are higher at midday. March corn futures are 7 cents per bushel higher. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 116 points higher while Nasdaq is up 15 points.
