GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are holding moderate to strong gains Monday. Lean hog futures are once again on fire as deferred futures hold triple-digit gains following renewed noncommercial buyer support. Corn futures are lower at midday. December corn futures are 9 cents lower. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 15 points higher while Nasdaq is up 2 points.
