DTN Midday Livestock Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Mixed trade through livestock futures has been centered on renewed buyer support in live cattle futures while lean hog and feeder cattle futures have struggled to maintain stability at midday. Very little additional fundamental direction is available, keeping many traders on the sidelines. Corn futures are higher at midday. December corn futures are 1 cents higher at midday. Stock markets are mixed in light trade. The Dow Jones is 14 points lower while Nasdaq is up 4 points.
