DTN Midday Livestock Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are trading mixed with strong gains holding in the lean hog complex. Pressure has slowly developed through the cattle complex during morning trade. This may continue to pressure live cattle prices over the last hour of trade. Corn futures are higher at midday. September corn futures are holding 2 cent gains at midday. Stock markets are higher in light trade. The Dow Jones is 26 points higher while Nasdaq is up 11 points.
