GENERAL COMMENTS:

Activity levels are sluggish Friday morning across the livestock market. Traders continue to focus on firmness in both fundamentals at the end of the week. But buyer support has been hard to find. Traders appear to be more interested in end of the week positioning, rather than aggressively focusing on future fundamental market support. Corn futures are trading lower in light trade at midday. May corn futures are holding 1cent losses at midday. Stock markets are lower in light trade. The Dow Jones is 8 points lower while Nasdaq is down 18 points.
