GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures have turned higher at midday following the pullback in the corn futures market through late morning. Traders are looking for additional confirmation from meat price support as well as cash market momentum. Corn futures are trading lower in light at midday in light trade. May corn futures are holding 3 cent losses at midday. Stock markets are lower in light trade. The Dow Jones is 66 points lower while Nasdaq is down 26 points.
