DTN Midday Livestock Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are trading mixed to moderately lower through Monday morning. Traders are expected to be focusing on the direction of both outside markets and movement in beef and pork values. This could limit widespread moves through much of the Monday trading session. Corn futures are trading lower at midday in light trade. May corn futures are holding 4 cent loss at midday. Stock markets are lower in light trade. The Dow Jones is 13 points down while Nasdaq is down 5 points.
