Overall pressure in most outside markets is also leaving most traders focusing on protecting positions at the end of the week. Corn futures are trading lower at midday in light trade. December corn futures are holding 11 cent losses at midday. Stock markets are mixed in light trade. The Dow Jones is 46 points higher while Nasdaq is down 16 points.
