The government is back in business; USDA decided to cancel the October 11 report. The amount of information to decipher between now and the Nov. 8 report makes even that one tentative. Some field samples were taken in late September that might have some value for the November report, but of what value will they be? Odds are that wet corn stored in a plastic container won't be in a useful condition three weeks later. The explanation and protocol behind the Nov. 8 report will be very important in order to understand the methodology behind the report.
