Indications are we will see record or near record planting of corn reported Monday afternoon. The record was 43% planted in 1992. The market is expecting more like 37% progress getting to 65%, however we have come a long ways in efficiencies since 1992 and a lot more drain tile laid in the past 20 years. High-priced corn gives one an incentive to work harder and longer.
