HSUS Boils Over Egg Bill

LINCOLN, Neb. (DTN) -- The president of the Humane Society of the United States says Congress is blocking a commonsense solution to providing certainty for the egg industry, and it's costing votes in getting the farm bill passed.

Wayne Pacelle was in Nebraska last Thursday and Friday to tour a dairy farm and visit with members of an agricultural council that HSUS has formed as part of a relationship with the Nebraska Farmers Union.
