Chicken. Staring contests. Brinkmanship. The past two weeks we've seen all three played by entitled, spoiled children who expect the voting public to forget all this nonsense and send them back to Washington, D.C., the next time elections roll around, as if nothing ever happened. We'll see. I've studied politics, and government, and the only conclusion I can reach about how things are done anymore is that the greatest of the founding fathers, most notably Adams and Jefferson, must be spinning in their graves.
