General Comments:

Corn closed down 2 1/2 cents in the September contract and down 2 cents in the December. Soybeans closed down 9 3/4 cents in the August contract and down 13 3/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed up 8 1/2 cents in the September Chicago contract, up 4 1/4 cents in the September Kansas City, and up 5 3/4 cents in the September Minneapolis.

The September U.S. dollar index is up 0.26 at 81.66. December gold is down $3.20 at $1,285.70 while September silver is down $0.39 and September copper is down 0.0390. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ...
