General Comments:

Corn closed up 3 1/4 cents in the September and up 4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed down 3 3/4 cents in the August and down 16 1/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed 9 cents higher in the September Chicago, 7 cents higher in the September Kansas City, and 5 3/4 cents higher in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is .18 lower at 80.10. August gold is up $2.90 at $1,319.90 while September silver is down .03 and September copper is down $0.0065.
