General Comments:

Corn closed up 5 1/2 cents in the December contract and was up 6 3/4 cents in the March. Soybeans closed down 1 1/2 cents in the January contract and down 1 1/2 cents in the March. Wheat closed up 6 1/2 cents in the March Chicago contract, up 5 3/4 cents in the March Kansas City, and up 2 cents in the March Minneapolis. The December U.S. dollar index is down .40 at 80.54.
