General Comments:

Corn closed 8 cents higher in the September and 5 1/2 cents higher in the December. Soybeans closed 43 1/4 cents higher in the September and 41 1/4 cents higher in the November. Wheat closed 5 1/2 cents higher in the December Chicago, 2 1/4 cents higher in the December Kansas City, and 1 1/2 cents lower in the December Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is .13 lower at 81.40. December gold is up $25.30 at $1,396.10 while September silver is up $.85 and September copper is up $0.0180.
