General Comments:

Corn closed up 16 3/4 cents in the September contract and up 17 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 18 3/4 cents in the September and up 26 1/2 cents in the November. Wheat closed up 6 3/4 cents in the December Chicago contract, up 3 1/4 cents in the December Kansas City, and up 2 3/4 cents in the December Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .53 at 81.23. December gold is up $29.90 at $1,363.30 while September silver is up $1.20 and September copper is up $.0115.
