General Comments:

Corn closed down 18 1/4 cents in the September contract and down 12 1/2 cents in the December. Soybeans closed down 57 3/4 cents in the August and down 28 1/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed down 6 cents in the September Chicago contract, down 3 cents in the September Kansas City, and down 2 3/4 cents in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .21 at 82.10. August gold is down $1.10 at $1,334.90 while September silver is $.24 lower and September copper is $.0135 higher.
