General Comments:

Corn closed down 15 3/4 cents in the September contract and down 9 3/4 cents in the December. Soybeans closed up 5 1/4 cents in the August and down 8 3/4 cents in the November. Wheat closed down 2 3/4 cents in the September Chicago contract, down 2 3/4 cents in the September Kansas City, and down 3 1/2 cents in the September Minneapolis. The September U.S. dollar index is down .14 at 83.24. August gold is up $27.40 at $1,251.10 while September silver is $.05 higher and September copper is $.1015 higher.
