General Comments:

Corn closed 1 3/4 cents lower in the May and 1 cent higher in the December. Soybeans closed 3 1/4 cents higher in the May and 4 cents lower in the November. Wheat closed 6 3/4 cents higher in the May Chicago, 6 1/4 cents higher in the May Kansas City, and 10 1/2 cents higher in the May Minneapolis. The U.S. Dollar Index is 0.155 higher at 82.888. June gold is $23.90 lower at $1,577.40 while May silver is $0.649 lower and May copper is unchanged. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 74 points higher at 14,647. ...
