General Comments:

Corn closed 50 cents lower in the May and 1 3/4 cents lower in the December. Soybeans closed 14 cents lower in the May and 1 1/4 cents higher in the November. Wheat closed 23 3/4 cents lower in the May Chicago, 17 cents lower in the May Kansas City, and 14 1/2 cents lower in the May Minneapolis. The U.S. Dollar Index is 0.485 lower at 82.736. June gold is $4.70 higher at $1,600.40 while May silver is $0.348 lower and May copper is $.0205 lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 24 points lower at 14,553. ...
