General Comments:

Corn closed 3 cents lower in the May and 3 cents lower in the July. Soybeans closed 10 1/2 cents higher in the May and 9 cents higher in the July. Wheat closed 4 1/4 cents higher in the May Chicago, 9 1/2 cents higher in the May Kansas City, and 5 1/4 cents higher in the May Minneapolis. The U.S. dollar index is 0.076 higher at 82.904. April gold is $6.40 lower at $1,598.10 while May silver is $0.070 lower and May copper is $.0085 higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 86 points higher at 14,534. ...
