DTN Before The Bell Grain Comments

Morning CME Globex Update: December corn was down 3 cents, November soybeans were down 10 3/4 cents, and September Minneapolis wheat was down 3/4 cent. At 8 a.m., USDA said that 23,368 metric tons (.9 mb) of corn were sold to Mexico for 2013-14 and 245,716 tons (9.7 mb) were sold for 2014-15. 360,000 tons (13.2 mb) of soybeans were sold to China for 2014-15 and 134,700 tons of soybean meal were sold to Mexico for 2014-15. Before the announcements, corn and soybeans were lower with rain falling in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
