DTN Before The Bell Grain Comments

Morning CME Globex Update: December corn was down 2 1/2 cents, November soybeans were down 6 1/4 cents, and September Chicago wheat was down 3 cents. At 8 a.m., USDA announced that 107,696 metric tons (4.2 mb) of corn were sold to unknown destinations and 101,600 tons (4.0 mb) were sold to Japan, both for 2014-15. Corn and soybeans are starting lower Wednesday with another day of pleasant summer temperatures across the Corn Belt. Wheat prices are also lower with the winter harvest progressing in the eastern Midwest.
