DTN Before The Bell Grain Comments

Morning CME Globex Update: Corn 3 1/2 lower, Soybeans 4 3/4 lower, Wheat 4 1/4 lower. The grain markets have plenty of their own issues to drive trade this week -- including harmful weather and pre-holiday profit-taking -- so they are mostly insensitive to the macroeconomic volatility occurring in outside markets.

U.S. Dollar Index: Higher
Gold: Higher
Crude Oil: Higher
