Morning CME Globex Update:December corn is trading up 1/2 cent, November soybeans are up 3 1/4 cents, and September Chicago wheat is up 5 cents.
At 8 a.m. USDA announced that China bought 220,000 tons of U.S. new-crop soybeans and 211,328 tons of U.S. corn were sold to unknown destinations, mostly for 2013-2014. December corn and November soybeans are steady to higher with a relatively dry five-day forecast creating some concerns for reproductive corn and soybeans in spite of cooler temperatures in July.
