Morning CME Globex Update: July corn is up 3/4 cent, July soybeans up 5 1/4 cents, and July Chicago wheat is up 4 1/2 cents. A mix of rain and snow Friday from Louisiana to Wisconsin is adding unwanted moisture to potential corn fields that are already too wet to plant and increasing flooding issues in the mid-Mississippi Valley. The U.S. unemployment rate improved from 7.6% to 7.5% in April. Non-farm payrolls increased by 165,000 jobs, more than expected. The June U.S. dollar index is steady to higher.
