General Comments

U.S. stock market indices are higher with the Dow up 106. Interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 5 higher. Energies are mixed with crude oil down .35. Livestock trade is mixed. Precious metals are mixed with gold up $2.

Corn futures are 1 to 3 cents lower at midday. Trade had been mixed overnight up to midday. The weather forecast remains fairly benign for corn in the near term.
