General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are higher with the Dow up 20. The interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 25 higher. Energies are higher with crude oil up $0.10. Livestock trade is mixed with hogs higher and cattle lower. Precious metals are mixed with gold up $24.

Corn trade is 5 to 7 cents higher at midday with buying support emerging during the day session with support from wheat and mixed weather forecasts. The weekly ethanol production showed production down 5.75% as we enter maintenance season, while stocks were 1.76% lower on 3.92% better ...
