General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are lower with the Dow futures down 20. The interest rate products are higher. The U.S. dollar index is 5 lower. Energies are higher with crude up $.80. Livestock trade is sharply lower. Precious metals are higher with gold up $20.

Corn trade is 2 lower on new crop and 5 lower on the nearby at midday. The trading range has been about seven cents and we are near the low end of the day. Traders do not expect much action Friday afternoon. Important nearby May chart support is at the $4.88 ...
