General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are higher with the Dow futures up 105. The interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 45 lower. Energies are lightly firmer with crude up $0.20. Livestock trade is mostly higher. Precious metals are lower with gold down $6.

CORN

Corn trade is 5 to 6 higher at midday; momentum is firmer with trade at the daily highs. Outside markets are supportive and although the action was negative yesterday, the monthly close will be positive. This is bringing in some short covering, plus overall commodity buying appears to be in play. ...
