General Comments

The U.S. stock markets are lower with the Dow down 50. The interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 17 lower. Energies are mixed with crude down $0.30. Livestock trade is mixed. Precious metals are higher with gold up $2.

Corn trade is flat to 2 higher at midday with support from neutral to firmer outside markets. March contract chart resistance remains at $4.29, the 20-day moving average, and support is now at $4.17.
