General Comments

U.S. stock markets are lower with Dow futures down 45. Interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 20 higher. Energies are lower with crude off .70. Livestock trade is mixed. Precious metals are weaker with gold down $9.

Corn futures are 2 to 4 lower at midday with spillover pressure from the weaker soybean market. Some long profit-taking as we head into month's end and contract delivery on September is noted limiting the upside.
