General Comments

U.S. stock markets are higher with Dow futures up 80. Interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 62 higher. Energies are lower with crude off .80. Livestock trade is higher. Precious metals are weaker with gold down $12.

CORN

Corn futures are 1 to 4 lower at midday in quiet trade. September is lower after some recent strength with longs getting out ahead of first notice. The dollar is sharply stronger on a continued flight to safety over Syria as well as better economic stats this morning, which is putting some pressure on the commodity complex. ...
