General Comments

U.S. stock indices are flat with Dow futures up 8. Interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 20 higher. Energies are narrowly mixed with crude up $.05. Livestock trade is higher. Precious metals are mixed with gold up $8.

Corn futures are 5 to 8 lower at midday with soft outside markets and a non-threatening weather forecast for much of the Corn Belt.
