General Comments

The U.S. stock markets are flat to lower at midday with the Dow futures down 30 points. The interest rate products are lower. The dollar index is 50 points lower. Energies are higher with crude up 40 cents. Livestock trade is sharply lower. Precious metals are softer with gold up $3.

Corn trade is steady to a penny lower at midday. Outside markets are mildly supportive this morning, if that continues it may help provide higher closes for the grain floor. May chart support is at $7.06, and resistance at $7.22. Logistics issues in South America will ...
