General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are higher at midday with the Dow futures up 25. The interest rate products are lower. The dollar index has been mixed, its slightly higher at midday. Energies are lightly higher with crude up $0.40. Livestock trade is higher with cattle up 140-250 following a bullish monthly cattle-on-feed report Friday afternoon. Precious metals are flat to lower with gold off $2.
