OMAHA (DTN) -- As we near the close, March corn is down 6 3/4 cents, January soybeans are down 19 cents, and March Chicago wheat is down 7 1/2 cents. Grains are climbing back from steeper losses earlier, but are still lower on the day with commercial selling evident in soybeans. March Chicago wheat is extending the downtrend that resumed Tuesday when USDA released bearish world estimates and prices broke to new contract lows.
