Grains

OMAHA (DTN) -- Grains are trying to rally late in the day, led by the wheat market. Yes, you read that correctly. Wheat contracts are up 8 to 10 cents, pulling corn up to a gain of 1 cent heading toward the close. Soybeans continue to hold earlier gains of about 4 cents. Outside markets are mostly bullish, providing support to the grain complex, with the US dollar index down about 0.370, the Dow holding at a gain of 28 points, and metals and energies mostly higher.
