QUESTION: I run a small stocker operation and have a steer that started acting weird yesterday when I called the calves up to be fed. He acted like he wanted to come up, made a wide circle, then took off at a trot for the woods. A deer hunter spotted him about a mile away, still running. He came back toward home several hours later, still seeming like he wanted to eat, but took off again running in wide circles. I don't think the calf is blind and I could not ...
