Spring can't get to Missouri soon enough for Bob Salmon. Described as a "management-intensive grazier," this cattleman is ready for the moment there's a decent bite of green in the paddocks.

Salmon runs a stocker business at Appleton City. He focuses his operation on two things: 1) Growing grass; and 2) Getting every penny out of it. Both goals require a high level of management, which, when done right, can hold costs down and keep profits up.
