In the Southeast, Curt Lacy says cattlemen are questioning everything from the best time to sell calves to whether they should expand herds. The University of Georgia beef specialist said while every operation is unique, the take-home message is that things look good for the next several years. However, producers should be prudent in how they spend money and have good risk-management practices in place. Here's what he's telling producers.
