OMAHA (DTN) -- Agriculture policy begins 2013 back where 2012 began -- with a renewed push to write a farm bill. Congress also is expected to argue about immigration reform and the Renewable Fuels Standard.

Though a new farm bill looked promising for a fleeting moment in 2012, Congress failed to finish the legislation. The farm bill got an extension, but, in reality, it had little to do with the importance placed on agriculture.
