As the old saying goes, "The more things change, the more they stay the same." This was never truer than during this past week at the rain-shortened annual Farm Progress Show, with this year's edition held just outside of Boone, Iowa. Going into the week, weather forecasts called for heavy rain over the heart of the Corn Belt. Some areas (including Boone) were expected to receive at least 4 inches or possibly as much as 6 inches.
