General Comments

The U.S. stock market indices are higher with the Dow up 30. The interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 11 lower. Energies are mixed with crude down $1.00. Livestock trade is mostly lower. Precious metals are higher with gold up $8.50.

CORN

Corn trade is 4 to 6 cents lower at midday with continued selling pressure and nonthreatening weather keep the market moving lower. The USDA announced new crop sales to Japan and unknown of 101,600 and 107,696. The weekly ethanol production data showed production 2.73% lower, stocks were up 0.45%, and gasoline demand was ...
