General Comments

The U.S. stock markets are higher this morning with the Dow up 130 points. The interest rate products are higher. The dollar index is 13 lower. Energies are mostly higher. Livestock trade is mixed with cattle sharply higher. Precious metals are higher with gold up $15.

Corn trade is 2 to 5 lower in fairly quiet midday trade. Some light long liquation has been seen after the failure to break higher following the supportive USDA report on Monday. CONAB lowered Brazilian production to 75 million metric tons, which is still 5 million higher than the USDA. The ...
